KORION ESTATES, GEORGIOPOLIS - KOURNAS

The location

Located only 1.2 kilometers from Kournas Lake, which offers boating and swimming, as well as several tavernas and cafes.  The lake is worth visiting for the unique flora and fauna and the marvelous landscape.  It is also located 4 kilometers from the seaside resort village of Georgiopolis. This village is famous for its 9 kilometer sandy beach and is situated on the northern coast of Crete, about 35 km away from Hania and 20 km from Rethymno. The village houses a police station, municipality office, doctor's office and a pharmacist. There are supermarkets, banking services, taxi station, hotels, restaurants, tavernas, cafes, bars, travel bureaus and various shops.
